Contract Project Manager / Superintendent (Commercial Renovation)

Location: Downtown Houston, TX

Salary: $10,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager / Superintendent to lead the renovation of a hotel lobby, bar, and restaurant in downtown Houston. This is a full-time, on-site contract position with a duration of approximately 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily on-site supervision and management of all project activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
• Maintain project schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with owners, design teams, and vendors.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes.
• Identify and resolve issues that could impact project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial project management, specifically interior renovations in the hospitality sector.
• Established relationships with Houston-area subcontractors required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple moving parts and make quick, informed decisions.
• Must be available for full-time, on-site supervision in downtown Houston for the duration of the project.

Compensation:

• $10,000 per month (contract/1099 basis)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Occasional weekends or evenings as needed to meet deadlines
