We are searching for a Contract Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse who want to provide an enhanced healthcare experience and make care better.

We are seeking an energetic, tech-savvy, values-driven individual who is passionate about people and focused on outcomes. As part of our highly skilled team at Parallel Health, LPN/RN's provide fee-for-service appointments to the general public. We are searching for a LPN/ RN with preferred experience in, but not limited to: providing training to unregulated care providers, performing minor clinical procedures (suture removals, EKGs etc), bloodwork, pre-employment medical testing, mobile footcare, vaccinations, TB testing, travel consults, paternity testing, qualitative fit testing, first aid training, and drug and alcohol testing, while working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the daily operations of a clinic run smoothly.   

 What you'll bring?

 Core Competencies

- Communication Skills: you will need to speak with clients and families on a regular basis, therefore excellent communication skills are necessary;
- Organizational Skills: coordinating multiple activities, providing primary healthcare services, answering phones, emails correspondence, to name a few;
- Problem-Solving Skills: you remain calm in stressful situations and tackle problems with a focus on finding positive solutions;
- Computer Proficiency: you must be comfortable using a computer for all aspects of your work and you will have an appreciation for technology;
- Detail oriented: there are many small, yet important, tasks that make the whole of this job and missing one can have a big impact; and,
- Empathy: every client can have unique and sometimes complex situations that require you to have understanding and compassion.

 If you: possess the above core competencies,  are licensed through the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador or the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador, with  experience working in a clinic setting or providing testing services; and a great attitude; then we would love to hear from you.
