Health & Wellness Coordinator
Pay: $20–$22/hour
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Columbus, OHAt Ability Matters, we support individuals with autism and other neurological disabilities in building independence, confidence, and meaningful lives in their communities. We are expanding our team, and we're inviting compassionate individuals to apply for the role of Health and Wellness Coordinator.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate Essential Care: Schedule, track, and manage medical, dental, vision, and wellness appointment to ensure continuity of care.
Keep information Organized & Compliant: Maintain accurate records, monitor documentation, and ensure information stays current, secure, and aligned with requirements.
Contribute to Direct Services: Provide direct services three days per week to stay connected to the consumer experience and understand the impact of services firsthand.
Communicate & Advocate: Work closely with individuals, families, providers, and internal teams to ensure appointments and care plans run smoothly.
Support Community Inclusion: Help connect people to resources, events, and opportunities that promote wellbeing and participation.

What We're Looking For
Education & Experience:
Relevant degree (preferred). High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in healthcare coordination, scheduling, records management, or social services is a plus.
Skills:
Strong organization and attention to detail. Clear, professional communication.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Passion for Inclusion: A genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.
Requirements: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
