Cooks are an integral part of the food and beverage experience at Breese Stevens Field. Interested candidates should have prior kitchen experience and be able to work in a fast-paced, hot environment.


Responsibilities include:

  • Follow food preparation guidelines to cook high volumes of concessions menu items without sacrificing quality or consistency.
  • Cooks may be asked to use grills, fryers, or perform general kitchen prep work.
  • Be able to follow a par sheet for the production of all food items for the stadium.
  • Under the guidance of Concessions Management, maintain cleanliness and health standards in accordance with guidelines set forth by the Dept. of Public Health.
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and fun work environment.

Requirements:

  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time (~ 4-8 hours/shift).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be at least 16 years old.  


Cooks are hired for the outdoor event season at Breese Stevens Field, which typically runs from early April to late October. This is a part-time, hourly position with most scheduled work occurring during daytime and early evening hours, including weekdays and weekends.
