The scheduling coordinator is an integral member of the department, performing various duties as necessary in support of the successful performance of the inpatient department.

Position Summary:
The scheduling coordinator is an integral member of the department, performing various duties as necessary in support of the successful performance of the inpatient department.
- Maintains inpatient and day hospital patients schedules on a daily and weekly basis, from admission to discharge
- Acts as a liaison with Inpatient Therapy Department and other Rehab departments, communicating scheduling needs of patients
- Collaborates with Inpatient Rehab Director in developing and maintaining staff schedules for inpatient Therapy Department
- Assist with maintenance of IP rehab staff coverage, professional requirements and benefit tracking, and departmental organization
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs and working with a computer database
- Minimum of five years healthcare experience
- Payroll experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, management and patient's families
- Ability to function independently or under supervision as task requires
- Organizational and time management skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability with changes in workload and departmental needs
