COFFEE SUPERVISOR

 

Location: McKenzie Corner, 1286 McKenzie Ave, Victoria, BC V8P 5P2

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a Coffee Supervisor passionate about coffee, tea and great local food to join our Coffee Project team! The Coffee Supervisor is responsible for leading the Coffee Project team to foster a positive work environment that provides excellent service to Team Members and customers alike. The successful candidate will set the tone and personality of the Coffee Project by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, while upholding all company policies and procedures.

 

  • Guide, train, and supervise the coffee department team, cultivating a supportive and efficient work atmosphere.
  • Monitor day-to-day activities in the coffee department, ensuring smooth operations, and a high level of customer service
  • Devise plans to enrich customer interactions and involvement within the coffee project space.
  • Assist with ordering, inventory , and setting pars for various SKUS
  • Maintain impeccable standards in coffee preparation, presentation, and service delivery.
  • Work together on marketing initiatives and promotions to elevate the visibility and prosperity of the coffee project.

  • Strong leadership skills that will inspire, motivate, and develop a team.
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and multi-task effectively in a busy retail store environment.
  • Preference for candidates with prior experience as a Barista or in a comparable position.
  • Understanding of diverse coffee brewing techniques and drink formulas.
  • Effective communication abilities and a customer first approach.
  • Team-oriented mindset, positivity, and a genuine passion for coffee
