The Role: CNC Mill Machinist Team Lead

We’re looking for a CNC Mill Machinist Team Lead to take ownership of machine setups, troubleshooting, and operator support in our Liverpool, NY facility. This is a hands-on leadership role—helping the team achieve top-quality results while keeping production running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components.

• Assist operators in reading blueprints, selecting tooling, and optimizing machining processes.

• Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

• Inspect first-piece parts to ensure they meet required tolerances.

• Work closely with the CNC Manager to align on daily priorities and production schedules.

• Train and mentor operators, including apprentices, helping them build their skills and confidence.

• Keep production on track by monitoring workflow and addressing challenges as they arise.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience, preferably in a leadership or mentoring role.

• Technical knowledge of CNC machine operations, tooling, and process optimization.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machining process sheets.

• Strong leadership and communication skills – able to guide a team while staying hands-on.

• Adaptability and problem-solving mindset – comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Protective Equipment Required – We provide and require proper PPE, including eye and ear protection, gloves, and steel-toed footwear.
