CNA Class-Nurse Aide Training Program

PAID POSITION! 

Do you want to get into healthcare or nursing and have no prior experience? Sabine Retirement's Nurse Aide Training Program is the launching path for you! Come join our compassionate team and learn in the classroom, WHILE GETTING PAID, and on the job with hands-on experience while earning your Certified Nursing Assistant license. The healthcare industry is the most rewarding field! Sabine Retirement covers 100% of the cost for the NATP course as well as your test upon completion of the course within our facility for those individuals selected. Must have High School Diploma or GED.  

This is a paid, entry level position. Once the class is complete and you are certified, your rate will be brought to the CNA pay scale. 

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Commitment to scheduled class & work hours with expectation of obtaining certification 
• Experience working and communicating with seniors is desired
• Work effectively with general supervision, ability to organize and manage own work load in a busy
• Able to accommodate resident requests for assistance within scope of non-certified assistance
• Ability to communicate well with residents and families promoting customer service and must maintain a calm and warm working environment with team members
• Meet the physical job demands of the position

Hours of Work: As Scheduled. Works weekends and holidays as scheduled.
