Customer Service Specialist

We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support our clients by understanding their needs and delivering effective solutions. This role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on ensuring client satisfaction and contributing to the team’s success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via email, phone, and internal communication platforms

  • Take timely and appropriate action to resolve client issues and concerns

  • Coordinate activities across departments on behalf of clients

  • Monitor monthly financial reports and manage error resolution processes

  • Notify teams of client anniversaries and renewal dates each month

  • Attend weekly internal meetings

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree in healthcare, business, or related field preferred

  • At least two years of customer service experience

  • Experience in the healthcare industry with a basic understanding of billing practices, HIPAA, and related regulations

Other Requirements

  • Emergicon requires satisfactory pre-employment background check and drug screening.
