Loyalhanna Care Center is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility located in Latrobe, PA. Our goal is to assist each resident to achieve the highest degree of independence through the provision of quality resident care, in a healthy, safe and comfortable environment. 

Nursing Assistants support the daily living needs of our residents. Caregiving is demanding but rewarding work best suited for compassionate individuals who enjoy caring for others.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for a CNA.  Among the many skills, strong communication skills are one of the most important. Perceptive observation skills. Ability to follow set rules and protocol. Time management and organizational skills. Empathy and compassion.

Nursing Assistants must be able to effectively interact with residents, resident families, and co-workers. Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
