Tasu Construction is a Western Canada–based construction company specializing in the installation and delivery of high‑quality modular and camp facilities. Our work includes workforce camps, modular buildings, and remote site installations that require precision, coordination, and strong on‑site execution.
We are known for our commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and long‑term employment. As our project portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking skilled carpenters to join our installation crews to support upcoming modular project mobilizations.
This is a hands‑on, field‑based role ideal for carpenters who enjoy modular installation work, rotational schedules, and working as part of a tight‑knit crew in project environments. You will be involved in all phases of modular installation, from unit setting through to final finishes.
All work is project‑based, with travel required across Western Canada depending on project location.
Work Schedule & Travel
- Remote, project‑based work only
- Rotational schedule for project assignments (typically 2 weeks on / 1 week off, project‑dependent)
- Travel required throughout Western Canada for modular installations
Key Responsibilities
- Install and finish modular and camp buildings from foundation to completion
- Assist with rigging, crane setting, alignment, and anchoring of modular units
- Complete interior and exterior finishing, including trim, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Build stairs, decks, landings, and covered entrances
- Perform renovations and repairs on existing modular structures
- Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment on site
- Maintain consistent communication with site supervisors regarding progress and material needs
- Follow all safety policies and procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture
Qualifications
Required
- 3–5+ years of carpentry or construction experience
- Solid understanding of general carpentry practices and job‑site safety
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Valid driver’s licence
- Physically capable of performing heavy manual outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and team‑focused mindset
Preferred
- Red Seal Carpenter certification or registered apprenticeship
- Modular, camp, or remote construction experience
- First Aid, Fall Protection, or other construction safety training
- Ownership of standard carpentry hand tools (asset, not required)
