Carpenter
Job Description - REMOTE LOCATION

Torch Remote Camps is a remote camp services company. We supply camp management services to various industries through out Western Canada. We currently are seeking a Carpenter to maintain and repair modular camp buildings. This role focuses on prefab structures, ensuring all units are safe, functional, and well-maintained in a remote camp environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain modular units (walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows)
- Install and replace fixtures such as cabinets, trims, locks, and hardware
- Perform adjustments and repairs on prefab structures (panels, joints, framing)
- Inspect units regularly and report damage or safety concerns
- Support setup, tear-down, and relocation of modular units if required
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks outside carpentry when needed
- Follow all safety procedures and camp policies
- Keep tools and materials organized and in good condition
- Requirements
- 3 years carpentry experience (modular or prefab experience is an asset)
- Knowledge of basic construction and repair techniques
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Comfortable working in a remote camp on rotation
- Physically fit and able to lift and work long hours
- Trade certification is an asset
