Bridal Makeup Artist

Responsibilities
- Apply makeup to beautify, enhance or alter the features of the client preparing for special occasions, primarily wedding events.
- Cleanse and prep the skin as needed to prepare it for the application of makeup.
- Analyze skin tones and facial features to determine what shades and types of makeup will be the best fit for each client.
- Study each client’s skin type and select products that will not irritate the skin or contribute to breakouts.
- Prepare beauty supplies and tools for each application.
- Consult with each client to achieve the desired look when applying makeup.
- Document specific looks by taking photos regularly and writing makeup sheets that can be referred to for future use.
Requirements
- Detailed knowledge of the latest products, services and industry techniques.
- Up to date portfolio of makeup looks created.
- High school or equivalent.
- Current certification and licensure per requirement of the State of Maryland Board.
Compensation
- 100% commission.
- Tips and gratuity.

Work Environment
The Bridal Makeup Artist works in The Spa or assigned area on property. The atmosphere should always maintain a quiet and relaxing environment.
Work Schedule Expectation:
This position has a flexible work schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays based on clients’ needs and expectations.
