Breakfast Attendant- Hyatt Place Downtown Tulsa

Hyatt Place is looking for a Breakfast Attendant to be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the breakfast service area while providing friendly and efficient guest service. This position ensures food presentation, cleanliness, safety, and hospitality standards are consistently maintained in accordance with hotel brand expectations. 


Responsibilities 

  • Prepare and set up the breakfast area prior to service hours 

  • Ensure all food and beverage items are stocked, fresh, and attractively presented throughout service 

  • Greet guests in a professional and welcoming manner 

  • Monitor breakfast area cleanliness, including tables, counters, floors, and beverage stations 

  • Replenish food, utensils, condiments, and supplies as needed 

  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines 

  • Properly store food items and rotate inventory using FIFO procedures 

  • Assist with receiving and stocking inventory deliveries 

  • Clean and break down breakfast area after service ends 

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as necessary 

  • Report maintenance, safety, or guest concerns to management promptly 

  • Support other hotel departments as needed to ensure guest satisfaction 

 

Qualifications 

  • Previous food service, restaurant, or hotel experience preferred 

  • Strong customer service and communication skills 

  • Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays 

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods 

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly 

  • Basic understanding of food handling and sanitation practices 

  • Dependable attendance and professional appearance required 

  • Must be fluent in English. 


Physical Requirements 

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, or hear. 

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and pushing and/or pulling approximately 50lbs. 

  • Ability to stand during the entire 8-hour shift. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment 

  • Exposure to hot surfaces, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment 


This position primarily works in the hotel breakfast and kitchen areas and may occasionally assist in public areas of the hotel. Schedule flexibility is required based on occupancy and operational needs.
