Bottle Sorter

Position Summary

As a Bottle Sorter, you will play a key role in delivering excellent service to our customers while ensuring efficient and accurate sorting of recyclable materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately count and inspect returned containers
• Sort bottles, cans, and other recyclables by material type
• Transport materials and equipment manually or using powered equipment
• Operate machinery such as balers, forklifts, or automated counting systems (if certified)
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
• Assist with other general warehouse duties as required

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Previous experience in a bottle depot or warehouse setting is an asset
• Experience with balers, forklifts, or automated equipment is an asset
• Must be dependable and punctual
