Job Responsibilities:

Martin's Distribution delivers fresh produce and various dry-goods to local restaurants in the Greater Charlotte area and we are seeking passionate and motivated employees who are excited about preparing orders and delivering products to local restaurants!

• Loading trucks and delivering products to multiple restaurants each day
• Count and verify all delivered products with customer to ensure proper delivery
• Read and interpret customer orders accurately to locate and organize specific products in the warehouse to prepare for delivery
• Receive / organize supplier shipments and re-stock inventory with warehouse equipment
• Maintain food health and safety regulations when working with products

Required qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License with clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years
• Ability to lift 50 pound boxes to a height of 3-4 feet and load them into a truck - physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo
• Time management to ensure deliveries are on-schedule
• Ability and motivation to learn industry specific skills
• Must be older than 18 years of age

Preferred qualifications but not required:

• Ability to speak Spanish
• Experience driving trucks or box-trucks
• Licensed or Certified Forklift operator
• Experience with electric pallet jacks
