Work Locations
Positions may be available at the following campuses:
- Annapolis Lower School: 716 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD 21401
- Severn Lower School: 109 Burns Crossing Road, Severn, MD 21144
Applicants may indicate their preferred campus when applying.
Schedule
Monday–Friday during the school year:
- Before School Care: 7:00–8:00 a.m.
- After School Care: 3:00–6:00 p.m.
Applicants may indicate whether they are available for morning care, afternoon care, or both. Schedules and available hours depend on program needs.
What You'll Do
- Supervise students and help maintain a safe environment.
- Build positive relationships with children through encouragement, respect, and Christ-like care.
- Assist with games, crafts, homework, outdoor play, and other age-appropriate activities.
- Encourage positive behavior, teamwork, and healthy friendships.
- Help maintain attendance records and follow school safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with parents, faculty, and staff.
- Work collaboratively with the Before & After Care Supervisor and other team members.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children through childcare, babysitting, school, camp, church, or similar activities is preferred.
- A genuine enjoyment of working with elementary-aged children.
- Dependability, patience, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to actively supervise children indoors and outdoors.
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
