Assistant Parts Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages and controls the parts inventory level, ensuring an adequate inventory and efficient use of dealership space.
  • Reviews department expenditures for accuracy, reconciles with vendor statements and provides payment authority.
  • Establishes and fosters relationships with outside sales representatives, vendors, and parts suppliers.
  • Promotes effective communication across the dealership to best serve customer’s needs.
  • Reviews vendor products, determines which lines to carry and negotiates profit margin.
  • Assists with training and managing parts employees to ensure acceptable productivity and adherence to dealership’s objectives and policies.
  • Able to develop strong internal relationships with our sales and service departments. 
  • Able to perform other duties as assigned in order to enhance and maximize the performance of the dealership.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a Valid and clean Driver’s/ Motorcycle License
  • Knowledgeable on all makes of motorcycle parts and able to resource and inventory as needed.
  • Willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks easily.
