Position Overview: As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our General Manager in the daily operations of our coffee shop. This position combines leadership, teamwork, and hands-on barista work to ensure our customers receive the best experience possible. If you have a love for coffee, a knack for multitasking, and a desire to create a fun and welcoming environment, we want to hear from you!



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Supervise and motivate a team of baristas, fostering a positive and collaborative work atmosphere.
  • Work the bar as a skilled barista, crafting delicious coffee beverages and maintaining quality standards.
  • Manage inventory by ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure the shop runs smoothly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns with a friendly demeanor.
  • Help create and implement training programs for new employees to uphold our service standards.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager on marketing initiatives and community engagement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a coffee shop or food service environment is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
  • Passion for coffee and knowledge of various brewing methods and beverages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage a team of employees, including setting performance expectations, providing training and development, and managing employee relations

  • Oversee the budget and financial performance of the company, including setting goals and monitoring results

  • Develop and implement strategies for growth and success, including identifying new opportunities and improving existing processes

  • Monitor market trends and adapt to changing business needs

  • Communicate effectively with other team members and management

  • Other duties as assigned
