Assistant Manager
Position Overview: As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our General Manager in the daily operations of our coffee shop. This position combines leadership, teamwork, and hands-on barista work to ensure our customers receive the best experience possible. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Supervise and motivate a team of baristas, fostering a positive and collaborative work atmosphere.
- Work the bar as a skilled barista, crafting delicious coffee beverages and maintaining quality standards.
- Manage inventory by ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure the shop runs smoothly.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns with a friendly demeanor.
- Help create and implement training programs for new employees to uphold our service standards.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on marketing initiatives and community engagement activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a coffee shop or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
- Passion for coffee and knowledge of various brewing methods and beverages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
