Job Title: Acquisitions Project Manager
Location: Remote
Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as an Acquisition PM. Oversee all aspects of the pre-award and post-award acquisition development to support schedule. Ensure acquisition packages are aligned to IDIQ, or program approved requirements and budget. Develop briefings, business cases, and investment justifications to support program needs and changes to baseline. Support Program Control oversight from a cost, schedule, and delivery perspective. Develop and track key metrics to measure progress and status of acquisition delivery and contract readiness. Prepare communications to senior management regarding contract status and provide ongoing reporting/data call responses.
Minimum qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional work experience
- Must have experience managing Information Technology related projects
- Must be well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
- Must have experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress
- Must be able to identify and mitigate risks
- Experience facilitating requirements development and pre-award package development
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline or 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the VA
- Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
