Alpine Guest Experience Representative (4:00 AM Shift)

Manning Park, BC Full-time $18.50/hour

We are presently searching for our next great team member as an Alpine Guest Experience Representative to join our Alpine Guest Services team. The Alpine Guest Experience Representative is responsible for reporting snow conditions and preparing the AGS operation before opening time. This role requires an independent and reliable individual who can work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions and safely operate a vehicle in winter conditions. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you. 

 

Responsibilities include: (but not limited to) 

* Complete daily vehicle inspections and operate company vehicles safely in adverse winter conditions.
* Gather snow and mountain condition information from various departments and update operational systems.
* Input and maintain information across multiple platforms.
* Clean and prepare the Alpine Guest Services building, including mopping floors, cleaning washrooms, removing trash, and restocking supplies.
* Complete outstanding rental tasks and prepare rental areas for opening.
* Assist with rental operations and ticket sales once guest services open at 9:00 AM.
* Provide excellent customer service and support resort operations as needed.
* Other tasks as required.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

* Valid BC Driver's License with a clean driving record.
* Comfortable driving in mountain and winter conditions.
* Good physical condition; Able to work outdoors, in adverse weather conditions, and perform manual labor
* Ability to work independently and make decisions with limited supervision.
* Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work a 4:00 AM start time.
* Previous knowledge of the ski hill is an asset
* Previous use of a Point of Sales System is an asset
* Level 1 or higher Ski or Snowboard Certification is an asset
* Will be required to work weekends & holidays.


This is a Seasonal Position, so you must be able to commit to the role for the full Winter Season (November-April). As a seasonal team member, you may be presented with opportunities to cross train and support in other departments to meet seasonal demands.
