Twin management, operators of Tumbleweed restaurants, Rapid Fired Pizza and Jolted Cow Coffee & Creamery, is looking for a motivated and detail oriented individual to join our support center team. The objective of this position is to guarantee the prompt and accurate processing of all invoices and assuring that all documents are electronically archived to comply with the record retention laws stated by the IRS.

Responsibilities

 

Accounts Payable

  • Process new vendors accurately and with all required documentation, maintain files and prepare 1099s at year-end
  • Obtain proper coding and approvals for all invoices
  • Process invoices
  • Review AP and check edits and prepare payment schedule for Monday check runs
  • Review vendor statements and ensure that all invoices have been received and processed
  • Maintain accurate vendor files with notes concerning items in question
  • Establish & maintain a good relationship with vendor contacts to ensure productive communication
  • Maintain schedules for utility accruals, prepaid items and period end information
  • Ensure that all period invoices have been approved and processed
  • Update and balance prepaid accounts and prepare standard journal entries
  • Process any journal entries related to AP accruals
  • Acts as backup to Senior Payroll Specialist
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • College degree in a related field is a plus
  • 2+ years related experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Restaurant 365 software is a plus
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic attitude
  • Highly organized individual with great punctuality and time management skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication, problem solving, critical thinking, attentive to detail, and presentation skills
