Under the direction of the Corporate Controller, the Payroll Manager assumes responsibility and accountability for supervising payroll and administrative staff and providing guidance on payroll-related matters, while directing and monitoring departmental workflow.
The Payroll Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing and reporting. This includes overseeing payroll controls, reconciliations, remittances, year-end processes, and payroll-related analysis, while supporting and assisting the Corporate Controller as required.
The following traits and qualifications are required:
Post secondary school Degree/Diploma in Business or Accounting.
CPA Preferred
Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) Preferred
Three years’ Management Experience or Progressive Financial Experience
Proficient with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
Experience with Accounting Software
