Account Manager - Industrial Water Treatment

ProChem Water, LLC, part of the Sylmar Group, is seeking an experienced Industrial Water Treatment Account Manager to support and grow our business throughout Southeastern Louisiana. 

This is an opportunity for an experienced water treatment professional to take ownership of a regional territory, support established industrial customers, and develop new business backed by ProChem's chemical treatment, equipment, engineering, wastewater, water reuse, and contract operations capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Manage and grow existing industrial water and wastewater treatment accounts
• Serve as a trusted technical resource for customer operations, maintenance, engineering, and environmental teams
• Support chemical treatment programs for boilers, cooling systems, wastewater, pretreatment, RO/membrane systems, and other industrial water processes
• Review water chemistry, operating data, chemical usage, and treatment performance to identify problems and opportunitites
• Troubleshoot treatment issues and develop practical solutions with support from ProChem's technical and engineering teams
• Identify opportunities for additional chemistry, equipment, services, water reuse, and operational support
• Prospect, develop, and close new industrial business throughout Southeastern Louisiana
• Conduct plant surveys, develop treatment recommendations, prepare proposals, and communicate the technical and financial value of ProChem's solutions
• Maintain account plans, opportunities, customer activity, and sales forecasts
• Build long-term customer relationships focused on performance, reliability, and measurable value

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of industrial water and/or wastewater treatment experience
• Strong working knowledge of industrial water treatment chemistry and applications
• Experience supporting boiler, cooling water, wastewater, pretreatment, and/or membrane treatment programs
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and independently support an industrial territory
• Technical sales, account management, or business development experience
• Ability to troubleshoot water treatment problems and communicate practical solutions to plant personnel
• Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, environmental science, business, or a related field is preferred; relevant industry experience may substitute for a degree
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly throughout the territory

Territory

This is a remote, field-based position in the Southeastern part of Louisiana. Candidates should live within reasonable driving distance of the region's major industrial markets, including Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Houma, Morgan City, Lafayette, and the Mississippi River Industrial corridor.
