Position Overview
Manning Park Resort is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and service-driven Front Desk Supervisor to join our Accommodations team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing Front Desk operations while ensuring a consistently high level of guest service. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who enjoys supporting team members, resolving guest concerns, and contributing to a positive and professional workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining a high standard of professionalism at all times
- Supervise daily Front Desk and Night Audit operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Foster a positive, supportive, and team-oriented work environment
- Monitor, track, and record Front Desk and Night Audit productivity
- Develop, implement, and maintain front desk procedures and service standards
- Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
- Manage and support escalated guest issues to ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate, assign, and review daily tasks for Front Desk team members
- Support the Accommodations Manager and Housekeeping Manager in developing work schedules based on business demand
- Review and approve employee timesheets
- Train, onboard, and support the ongoing development of Front Desk and Night Audit team members
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all resort departments
- Administer booking channels and ensure listings and related media are current and accurate
- Perform Front Desk and Night Audit duties as required, including reservations, guest check-ins and check-outs, and phone and online communications
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and people management abilities
- Minimum two years of Front Desk experience preferred
- Minimum one year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with email, reservation systems, and guest communication tools
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- A minimum one-year commitment is required
