Cassena Care at Stamford is actively seeking an In-service Coordinator/Staff Development
Registered Nurse to join our energetic
team of specialists! You will be responsible for assessing nursing staff
educational needs. Planning and implementing instructional programs to meet
those needs as well as State and Federal staff training requirements.
care coordination experience
communication and interpersonal skills
Coordinator experience in a large healthcare facility preferred
computer skills required with knowledge of Smartlinx software a plus
Responsibilities to include:
multi-task, think on your feet and prioritize in a demanding office environment
nursing department schedule
staffing levers per established par levels, utilizing a Smartlinx software
ability to determine staff learning needs.
leadership in formulating facility-wide training and education goals and
and presents interactive staff training programs on centralized or
decentralized basis as needed.
one-on-one remedial training to address inadequate individual job skills/
records regarding staff attendance at in-service training sessions
as back-up interviewer for nursing department applicants when Assistant
Administrator / Nursing, DON, Assistant DON or DONC is not available.
