Project Document Control Associate

The primary purpose of the Project Document Control Associate is to carry out day-to-day Document Control activities in support of ongoing projects at the client site.

 This contract position will be in Hackberry, Louisiana. Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) is required

Education and Experience

·       Technical Diploma or equivalent experience in Information/Data Management associated with major capital O&G Projects and Unit Operator Business Units or Companies.

·       4-6 years of Information/Data Management experience

·       Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite of software

·       Good working knowledge of OpenText or related systems (preferred, but not an exemption)

·       Knowledge of Document Control Processes

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

·       Ability to communicate fluently in English

·       Organized and able to manage multiple activities timely and with a high degree of accuracy

·       Self-starter with the ability to work strategically under little direction

·       Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

·       Strong attention to details

·       Possesses the personality and ability to relate to and establish a mutually respectful relationship with 1) management, 2) peers and 3) the various facility-level workers who are all responsible for ensuring good operations

 Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and governmental agencies.

 Physical Demands

-      Must be able to sit at a desk and operate a computer for extended periods of time

-      Must be able to climb stairs

-      Must be willing to be on call; work outside of normal business hours as required

-      Must be willing to travel for trainings and meetings as required
