Security Officer – Bakersfield, CA

ValorGuard is hiring Security Officers for a variety of assignments throughout Bakersfield. This is a strong entry point into the company with opportunities to move into higher-level roles for reliable and professional officers.

What You’ll Do: Conduct foot patrols across assigned properties, monitor for trespassing and safety concerns, write clear and accurate reports, maintain a visible presence, and enforce site-specific rules.

Typical Assignments: Landfills, construction sites, warehouses, guard shacks, HOA communities, shopping centers, and occasional event security.

Schedule: Varies by site, must be available for days, swings, overnights, weekends, and flexible coverage.

Pay and Perks: Base–$18/hr, overtime–$27/hr, +$1/hr for veterans and active military, weekly pay, and cell phone stipend.

Requirements: Active CA guard card, security experience preferred (entry-level positions available), reliable transportation, ability to walk and remain active for extended periods, reliable and professional.
