The position is responsible for
conducting and leading audits and consulting engagements of high complexity and
risks with minimal supervision. Provides
management with insights and recommendations to better manage risks, strengthen
internal controls, and provide the necessary information to improve and
maximize the value of the organization.
Responsible for managing team members assigned to audits and projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare the audit approach relating to
nature, timing and extent of procedures based upon risk assessment, analytical
review and other required preliminary activities as defined by internal audit
policy and procedures..
Clearly and accurately document the
execution of specific audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives
and planned audit approach and in
accordance with internal audit policy and procedures..
Recognize potential audit issues or
unusual relationships from basic analysis of financial and operational
information and communicate them to the team.
Reviews work papers of team members
assigned and provide performance feedback and coaching.
Proactively maintains contact with the
management and other appropriate personnel throughout the year to learn about
changes in processes, systems and personnel to identify potential new

defined by internal audit policy and procedure.
Perform follow up procedures to ensure
that corrective actions were addressed as defined by internal audit policy and
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting,
Finance, Business or a related field as deemed necessary by department
management is required.
Four to Six years of experience in
internal or external auditing. Financial
Services experience is preferred. Experience in compliance, accounting, fraud,
or other risk mitigation and accounting position may be substituted upon
Maintains approved certification such
as CIA, CPA, CISA, or advanced degree (e.g. MBA) is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication
Use technology to continually learn,
share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. Maintain an
educational program to continually develop skills and Stay informed of current
business/economic developments relevant to the client's business.

serving their needs and developing relationships with them.
