Garden Shop Department Manager- Full- time

Full-time position. 40 hours /week- year round.

This is NOT a summer position.

Must be able to work weekends.

Essential Functions:

Creation, set-up and maintaining merchandise displays-  garden, gift,  patio, fountains, seasonal and holiday merchandise

This position requires:

• previous  buying/order and inventory management or retail equivalent
• previous retail management experience 

•  lifting of at least 30 lbs. consistently
•  standing 8+ hours per shift
•  must be able to reach, lift, sit, stand, kneel, and bend
•  adaptability to heat/humidity and cold temperatures
• use of hand or power tools, ladders, and pallet jacks.
• must be able to be certified and operate a forklift 
• must be able to follow directions 
• minimum HS Diploma/GED
