This position is responsible for the retail program across all
outlets at Moonlight Basin. This includes overall merchandising strategies,
delivering on operational standards, inventory control, and team development.
Oversee and provides leadership to retail outlets across property.
Prepare, review and analyze sales and operational records and
reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and
to identify potential new markets.
Develop sales goals for each location, monitors progress toward
those goals, and develops strategies to attract and retain customers.
Develops marketing programs and promotions to increase sales
and/or introduce new products and services.
Prepares and implements budget in coordination with the Outfitters
Director; monitors and approves expenses.
Responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling of staff as
business needs require.
Responsible for coaching, developing, and disciplining staff as
necessary for maximum effectiveness.
Identifies opportunities for improvement in the stores; designs
and implements training, strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to
maximize productivity and morale.
Schedules and directs regular team meetings and events to share
information, set and revise goals, and to increase morale.
Maintains knowledge of market, competition, and best practices and
trends in sales techniques and strategies.
Responsible for biweekly payroll.
for sourcing and ordering products, stocking, organization, end of month
inventories, sales reports, and receiving of all merchandise.
Take incoming phone calls, meeting all phone etiquette standards.
Perform opening and closing duties as necessary.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Work tasks are performed indoors and outdoors. Temperature
generally is moderate and controlled by Resort environmental systems; however,
must be able to work in extreme temperatures, possibly for one hour or more.
Position requires walking; must be able to stand and exert
well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length. Length of time of these
tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach different
outlets and other departments of the Resort on a timely basis.
