E-INFOSOL is seeking a Senior Cloud/Virtualization Engineer with experience in cloud and virtualization to support a contract in Washington, DC.
Job Description
We are seeking a systems or software engineer with AWS and VMware experience who is
excited about solving national security related data problems.
• Leverage Amazon Web Services to build scalable data infrastructure
• Automate deployment and management of cloud-based infrastructure
• Work on a cross-functional team delivering real value to their national security customers
every day
• Experience extending enterprise monitoring services in the cloud (e.g. SEIM, Splunk,
Active Directory)
• Design, install, configure, and troubleshoot VMware solutions based on architectures
derived from VMWare best practices and customer requirements.
Requirements
Clearance:
Active Top-Secret clearance
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum Experience Required:
• 3+ years of experience working with AWS infrastructure
• 3+ years of experience in datacenter networking
• 5+ years of experience supporting Linux/Unix systems in an enterprise production
environment
• 5+ years of Linux experience of RedHat, CentOS, Scientific Linux or similar Linux/Unix
systems
• 2+ years of experience with system administrative scripting. (bash, Python, powercli,
powershell etc)
• Experience implementing security best practices in production environments
Senior Cloud/Virtualization Engineer
• Support mission-focused infrastructure to ensure performance and availability of system and environment
• Technical knowledge of multiple VMware products/solutions
• Experience in infrastructure architecture and design of complex distributed systems environments
• VMware VCP certification
This position requires the candidate to have an ACTIVE Top Secret clearance. The candidate must also be able to obtain and maintain SCI access within 6 months of hire date.
