a vital member of the marketing & communications team, the Social Media
Manager leads, develops, and executes the University’s social strategy. Reporting
to the Director of Web Communications, the Social Media Manager is responsible
for producing content that is consistent with brand guidelines and aligned with
institutional priority initiatives. This position manages the University’s
flagship accounts including Instagram, Facebook,
Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
The ideal candidate is a creative content
producer with exceptional judgment, an ability to foster and build community across
audiences, and an interest in short-form storytelling. Excellent grammar skills are a must.
Photography and video skills are a plus.
degree required in communications, marketing, or management.
education experience preferred.
to five years of experience managing social communities.
