Independent Education Sales Representative
Reports To: Senior Director, Education
Purpose:
Kentucky Educational Television has a long history of producing quality educational resources. We are currently adding Independent Representatives across the U.S. to market and sell adult education and workplace training programs and products. Independent representatives are not employees of KET, but rather enjoy the exclusive right to sell KET resources in specified areas, enjoy flexible work schedules and unlimited income potential through uncapped monthly commissions.
Expectations:
Independent reps are expected to bring energy and commitment to the position in order to:
· Attain and surpass sales goals
· Build and maintain customer relationships with a variety of educational and training programs to grow market
· Create and execute strategic plans for growth in sales within assigned territory
· Be diligent and organized in communication and follow-through
· Attend periodic web-based sales training
· Participate occasionally in promotional events and conferences to represent KET
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:
Independent reps should exhibit the following skills for success:
· Prior experience in sales or education
· Outstanding written and oral communication skills
· Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft software suite
· Excellent presentation skills
· Valid driver’s license and approved background check
