Sales Manager- Sports Club

Crystal Springs Resort Hamburg, NJ $12.00 per hour

Reporting to the Sports Club Director, the Sales Manager is primarily responsible for attracting, hiring and onboarding qualified Membership Advisors.  The Sales Manager is responsible for driving in-club sales performance and executing monthly sales strategies as developed in partnership with the Sports Club Director and General Manager. This individual is responsible for coaching and development all leads, while also selling and managing a pipeline of members.


  • Employee will contribute to and consistently apply MSC policies and procedures by effectively working with personnel without regard to race, religion, age national origin, gender, physical or mental disability
  • Achieve personal monthly sales goal through lead generation and pipeline management-
  • Train, motivate, coach, direct, and evaluate sales teams in partnership with Sports Club Director
  • Support and execute monthly sales strategy developed with Sports Club Director.
  • Coach membership advisor teams on a consistent basis through role play and pipeline management
  • Achieve or exceed club’s new sales, renewals, net member gain, and ancillary service goals
  • Implement and adhere to lead tracking services, programs, and products
  • Keep current in knowledge of key competitors
  • Perform all other duties as needed


  • BA/MS Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing an incentive based sales force
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Relevant experience creating engagement with digital leads
  • Ability to utilize new techniques, ideas and problem solve
  • Posses honesty and personal integrity
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly
  • Passionate, intelligent and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry
  • Ambitious and driven with a willingness to work and drive a successful sales team
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent time management, organizational and follow up skills
  • Facilitate productive sales meeting

$12 per hour plus commission

New sales:

  • Platinum 6%
  • All others 5%

Renew sales:

  • 2.25% all memberships
