Payworks develops proprietary, integrated SaaS-based products in the payroll, human resources and time and attendance space. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Growth Marketing, the Marketing CRM Lead will support our continued growth by leveraging our CRM technology fully and will be the resident expert on data intelligence gathering and reporting. You will also play a critical role in meeting the objectives of the broader Marketing and Sales teams by supporting the optimization of campaigns, workflows, tools and processes. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise CRM solutions, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

COLLABORATE & SOLVE PROBLEMS – IT’S WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Campaign support and monitoring – You will identify opportunities for sales and marketing campaigns based on CRM data to make recommendations to maximize ROI. Work collaboratively to ensure campaigns align with measurable business goals.
  • Data analysis and reporting –  You will analyze sales and marketing data, and trends to assess campaign performance, market share, penetration, pipeline health and other key business metrics. Pull regular sales reports and analyze trends like product adoption and attachment rates, customer acquisition cycles, and sales performance by region. You will create dashboards and support pipeline reporting for Sales Management and Partnership team. 
  • Optimize process and user experiences – Work with cross-functional groups to streamline workflows, user experience and remove friction points throughout the customer journey to support client satisfaction, retention and product adoption targets. You will drive continuous improvements in sales and marketing procedures to support data quality, tool adoption/utilization and identify opportunities to remove manual tasks from the sales cycle. 
  • Collaborate and communicate – You will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and business operations teams to ensure a seamless flow of data, insights, and feedback across departments. Acting as a liaison between the marketing, sales and business ops teams, you will ensure effective integration and use of CRM features. Also, work closely with developers in the early stages of campaign design and execution to ensure alignment between marketing goals and technical capabilities.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience as a Marketing Analyst, Data Analyst or a similar role.
  • Expertise in creating efficient SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data; enabling segmentation requests, optimizing performance and ensuring accurate data extraction.
  • Experience with data analytics tools including PowerBI, Tableau, Excel or similar.
  • Previous experience working in an enterprise-grade Content Management System (CMS).
  • Foundational understanding of Human-Computer Interaction design (UX) principles. 
  • Experience creating and managing work packages using JIRA and Monday.com.
  • Previous experience administering enterprise Marketing Automation solutions (SugarCRM, Salesforce, HubSpot) is considered an asset.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience with Front End web development (HTML, CSS, JS) considered an asset.
  • Self-motivated with ability to self-direct and work independently.
