Street Culture Project (SCP) is hiring a Program Manager for Regina Connected Youth (RCY)—a program supporting youth involved in or at risk of involvement in the criminal justice system.

This role requires a leader who can balance people leadership, operational accountability, and direct program oversight, while ensuring youth receive consistent, trauma-informed, and goal-oriented support.

What You’ll Do

This role leads the RCY program by ensuring staff are supported, systems are strong, and youth receive high-quality, consistent care.

You will:

• Lead, coach, and supervise RCY Case Workers through structured check-ins, performance management, and development planning

• Maintain a trauma-informed, youth-centred team culture rooted in accountability, professionalism, and care

• Ensure staff support youth in navigating probation requirements, court involvement, and community reintegration

• Oversee case management practices, ensuring documentation, reporting, and compliance with Community Corrections standards

• Maintain a small caseload to model best practice and ensure quality of service delivery

• Respond to program and staffing crises, providing real-time leadership and post-incident follow-up

• Manage staff scheduling, shift coverage, and payroll approvals to ensure uninterrupted program operations

• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and probation processes for new hires

• Complete and review monthly reporting and ensure all program documentation meets agency and funder standards

• Act as a liaison with Community Corrections, community agencies, and internal SCP teams

• Conduct regular documentation reviews, personnel file audits, and quality assurance activities

• Identify program gaps and contribute to ongoing program development and improvement

What You Bring

You are a structured, grounded, and accountable leader who understands that working with justice-involved youth requires both strong relationships and clear expectations.

You bring:

• A diploma or degree in Social Work, Human Services, Criminology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• 3–5 years of experience working with youth, preferably in justice-involved, outreach, or community-based programs

• Demonstrated experience supervising and supporting frontline staff

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and youth-centred approaches

• Experience working with or alongside the criminal justice system (probation, courts, or Community Corrections)

• Confidence managing performance, addressing conflict, and holding staff accountable

• Strong organizational skills, particularly in documentation, reporting, and compliance-heavy environments

• Ability to balance direct service involvement with program leadership responsibilities

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across teams and external partner

Additional Requirements

• Valid SK Driver’s License with abstract

• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector clearance

• Ability to respond to after-hours or on-call situations as required

• Commitment to SCP’s values and sanctioned approaches

• Training in CPR/First Aid, ASIST, Crisis Intervention, or Mental Health First Aid is an asset
