Janitor - Part Time

To strengthen our team at our Brampton, Ontario location, we are looking for a Part Time Janitor

Job Description:

•         Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors and carpets throughout the facility.

•         Sanitize, clean, and restock washrooms on a regular basis.

•         Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal.

•         Clean walls, ceilings, windows, and light fixtures as required.

•         Maintain cleanliness of lunchrooms, including appliances, tables, and surfaces.

•         Ensure the overall cleanliness and orderly appearance of the establishment.

•         Perform general cleaning duties as needed to support daily operations.

•         Complete minor handyman and basic maintenance tasks to help keep the building in good working condition.

•         Communicate effectively with management regarding maintenance issues, supply needs, or concerns.

•         Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, manager, or their designate.

Job Qualifications:

•         Knowledge and experience in working with cleaning supplies and chemicals

•         Ability to read, write and speak proficiently in English, for effective communication

•         Ability to work independently within established guidelines

•         Good physical health to meet the requirements of the job

•         Good time management skills and attention to detail

•         Prior Janitorial experience in an office preferred

•         Skilled craftsman

Salary Range:

$18.00 / hour at 20 hours per week
