The Opportunity

Are you a skilled Welder who takes pride in laid-down beads, razor-sharp fabrication, and seeing structural projects come to life? We’re looking for a motivated Welder to join our welding team. 

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Read, interpret, and bring blueprints, technical schematics, and weld process specs to life with 100% accuracy.
   
2. Operate specialized welding systems to fuse structural steel and alloy components across various positions.
3. Precision-cut and shape metal using industrial brakes, shears, and shaping equipment.
4. Assemble welded frames, skids, and enclosures with dead-on alignment.
5. Play a hands-on role in constructing, repairing, and maintaining custom industrial gensets and datacenters.
6. Assist cross-functional teams with PLC panel mounts and general oilfield structural builds when needed.
7. Perform visual inspections on your welds to catch and correct defects before parts hit the next stage.
8. Maintain a clean, organized bay in accordance with Alberta OHS protocols and Upstream Data safety guidelines.
9. Collaborate daily with mechanics, electricians, fabricators, and engineers to smash project deadlines.

What You Bring to the Table

• Proven hands-on welding experience (oilfield equipment building or structural fabrication background heavily preferred).
• Proficient with standard metalworking tools, torches, brakes, and shears.
• Ability to read welding symbols, structural prints, and engineering layout diagrams effortlessly.
• Focus on weld quality, structural specs, and shop safety protocols.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the time of application (sponsorship is not available).
