Summary

Daily oversight of the beverage operation and staff.  Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.  Ensures guest service standards are adhered to by staff.


Job Duties

Responsibilities include the implementing and following of all policies of the department and Company.  Assists in daily training of employees and   maintains open communication between all personnel working in department.  In absence of the manager, may act on his/her behalf.  Maintains liquor inventories and quality control with the service of alcohol.  Ensures quality control and timeliness of beverage service.  Assigns stations and job duties to staff.  Assists in controlling labor/beverage cost for department. Schedules hourly employees in department.  Knowledge of safety procedures to insure employee safety.  Understands all PLCB regulations.  Ensures compliance of all applicable liquor laws for department.  Ensures compliance with all federal and state gaming regulations.  Authorized to issue and activate casino access cards 

 

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Must be TIPS or RAMP certified. Two or three full years of employment in related position.  Requires thorough knowledge of nightclub/bar practices and procedures.   Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.  Must be able to work in smoke filled environments. Must have full working knowledge of MICROS POS. Must be able to qualify for and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Must have thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program.
