Excel Staffing Solutions is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide nursing care at the Children’s Detention Center. This is a meaningful opportunity to work with youth in a secure setting while supporting their health, safety, and well-being.

- Complete nursing assessments and monitor youth health needs
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Respond to medical concerns, injuries, and urgent situations
- Maintain accurate documentation and medical records
- Communicate with providers, facility staff, and care team members
- Follow facility policies, infection control standards, and nursing protocols
- Promote a calm, professional, and supportive care environment
- Current New York State RN License
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to remain professional in a secure setting
- Correctional, pediatric, behavioral health, or emergency nursing experience is a plus but not required
- Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented
