Regulatory Coordinator

Reporting to the Director of Product Development, Regulatory & QA for Consumables, the Regulatory Coordinator will assist with compiling documentation for various submissions, completing regulatory research, and supporting team members on project assignments. This position is for a temporary 12-month term with potential for extension. This position will be based in the US and work can be done remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain existing fertilizer product registrations, renewals, licenses, and permits.
  • Submit regular reports to US states on tonnage of fertilizers sold, and millage to CA.
  • Collect, prepare, and submit documentation to various regulatory agencies to support new product registrations, organic attestations, licenses, permits, etc.
  • Collect and submit data necessary to create SDSs.
  • Assist in the development and review of fertilizer and soil amendment product labels and associated documentation, verifying compliance with regulations.
  • Support the regulatory team in miscellaneous projects, research, and evaluations.
  • Adhere to existing operating procedures and diligently use project tracking systems.  
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, or 3 years of related work experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who: 
  • Have experience with renewing licenses and permits and/or expert in MS Excel.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who love gardening, are passionate about sustainability, and/or have experience in the agricultural industry.
