Position Summary

The Consumer Banking Performance Analyst reports directly to the Chief Deposit Officer and is responsible for performance reporting, financial analysis and customer relationship analytics for all departments reporting to the Chief Deposit Officer. The Consumer Banking Performance Analyst will develop and maintain standardized performance measurements and reports for all departments and meet regularly with department managers to review results.  The Consumer Banking Performance Analyst will also assist in the development of business strategies to improve departmental performance when needed  and coordinate efforts with the Marketing Department to fully integrate the consumer Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maximize customer service opportunities.  Additional special projects will also be assigned by the Chief Deposit Officer as needed.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Develops and maintains standardized performance metrics, financial reporting, and customer service measurement standards for the following First Guaranty Bank departments:
    1. Branch Banking
    2. Customer Contact Center
    3. Credit Cards
    4. Public Funds
    5. Treasury Management
  2. Attends and facilitates meetings with managers in relevant departments to review results and develop strategies for improvement.
  3. Works closely with the Finance Department to report on department profitability and budget measurements.
  4. Works with the Marketing Department to coordinate customer campaigns into the bank CRM tracking system.
  5. Works with the Deposit Operations Department to create product profitability reports and analyze deposit and loan portfolio trends.
  6. Properly aligns business processes with company goals.
  7. Follows proper change management policies and procedures for all changes occurring within the environment.
  8. Adheres to the BSA policy and all other bank policies.
  9. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or another related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Performance / Financial Analyst in the financial services industry, or experience in a leadership role with performance management and budget responsibilities in the financial services industry.
  • Ability to think analytically and logically to understand data, processes, and application functions.
  • Experience using analytical concepts and techniques.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience following change management policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication, documentation, and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.

 

Desired Qualifications

·        Salesforce, or other similar CRM application experience.
