Conductor/Conductor Teacher
The Movement Centre of Manitoba is looking for 1-2 new or experienced Conductors to join our team for a 1 year (renewable) contract.

What You’ll Do
As part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of professionals, you’ll develop comprehensive class plans and lead programs for child and adult clients with physical disabilities (CP, spina bifida, multiple sclerosis, stroke, developmental delay).
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and lead child and adult classes
- Chart client progress after each class, provide detailed progress reports upon request
- Collaborate with members of your multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate programs, as well as with clients, families, and other professionals
- Direct, supervise, assess, and communicate client and class goals and with CE assistants, program volunteers, and students
Your Qualifications and Skills
- A new or experienced Conductor/Conductor-teacher
- Enjoy planning and executing field trips, crafts, science, games, as part of your class planning
- Love having fun while you work
- Have a positive outlook and a drive to evolve, learn, and grow
- Love working as a team, and are eager to become an integral part of a cohesive group of colleagues who share the same values
- Enjoy variety and are adaptable and flexible
- A problem-solver and decision-maker
- An outstanding communicator, and have excellent oral and written English
- for example, IELTS overall score 6.5 / TOEFL overall score of 83 / DET overall score of 105
- Motivating to your colleagues and assistants through leading by example
- Eager to be a part of an organization in its 25th year of operation and in the midst of expansion
