Jarlette Health Services is proud to offer competitive wages, benefit packages and career advancement opportunities. the Information Technology Coordinator is responsible for the effective operation of information technology (IT) services and support across the organization. This individual oversees IT project management, resource management, supervision of IT staff, as well as communication with the senior team, business unit leaders, and end users. The IT Coordinator will support IT strategic and tactical planning, as well as identifying, selecting, and deploying the appropriate technology resources that will support corporate goals and objectives. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Ideal Candidate Traits & Qualifications
Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in computer science, business or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience required.
2 years of direct work experience in an IT role including providing direction on phone systems, networking, TV services, Nurse Call Systems, Security systems and door access systems of new and existing buildings.
Keen interest in setting strategic directions while still participating in day-to-day tasks and projects.
Advanced experience in google workspace and SaaS.
Strong customer services and troubleshooting skills
Patience in supporting non-technical IT contacts remotely.
Proficiency with firewalls, encryption, and other aspects of network security technologies.
Highly effective project management skills while working within a team environment.
High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
Strong negotiation, organizational and prioritization skills.
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of applicable IT laws and regulations.
