As a Care Ambassador you will allocate a portion of your time to caregiving, but you will also have the opportunity and responsibility to help develop, mentor, and supervise our Caregiver team. We are looking for Care Ambassadors in Central Denver, Aurora, and Englewood, and following are the skills and experience we’re looking for:
Excellent Leadership and Team Development skills
Assist our Caregivers in embracing their roles and appreciating the potential for Caregiving as a Career
Mentor and empower staff while upholding Nurse Next Door’s core purpose
Ability to work on weekends if our client needs
Bilingual (not required but a definite plus)
As a Care Ambassador with Nurses Next Door, you will:
Provide exemplary Caregiving that sets the standard for the rest of the team.
Mentor, monitor and supervise Caregivers to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of staff and the business.
Perform client/caregiver introductions during the 1st Visit.
Personal Care Services and Support (bathing, dressing, hygiene, etc.)
Companionship
Meal Preparation
Light Housekeeping
Stand-by Assistance
Medication Reminders
Hygiene Support
Transportation

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:
High school diploma or equivalent
Colorado state Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA)
We prefer 2-5 years of experience in caregiving
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Valid car insurance and registration
Current TB test
Flexibility with schedule to include: days, nights, weekends
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A professional and friendly attitude
