To be successful in this position, you should be able to consistently and reliably serve food and beverages to our guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Our baristas should be able to show guests our menus, describe the ingredients and methods of preparation of our menu items, and provide recommendations as needed.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive.
  
• Answer questions about menu items and provide recommendations.
  
• Accept and record credit card and cash payments.
  
• Prepare a variety of foods and beverages following specific company procedures and recipes.
  
• Package food and beverages for sale.
  
• Clean and sanitize all work areas regularly.
  
• Restock all supplies and ingredients as needed.
  
• Learn and demonstrate knowledge of brewing methods, beverage recipes, and presentation techniques.
  
• Update signage to inform and attract customers as needed.
  
• Take inventory and restock items in display cases and behind the bar.
  
• Have knowledge of and adhere to all national, regional, state and local food safety regulations.
  

Skills and Experience

• This position does not have any specific education requirements.
  
• Experience in food and beverage preparation is preferred.
  
• Willingness to continue learning on the job about food and beverage preparation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand in place for extended periods of time.
  
• Ability to lift and twist while carrying up to 50 lbs.
  
• The noise level of the work environment is usually loud.
