A Skilled Nursing Facility in the Miami, FL area is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join its leadership team.

This opportunity is ideal for a clinically strong nursing leader with a solid background in skilled nursing operations, staff management, regulatory compliance,

and day-to-day clinical oversight. The facility is looking for someone hands-on, organized, and capable of helping lead a fast-paced nursing department.

Responsibilities

• Assist with oversight of daily nursing operations within the facility
• Support nursing staff supervision, scheduling, and clinical leadership
• Help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Monitor documentation, clinical practices, and quality measures
• Assist with survey preparedness and regulatory compliance initiatives
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident care outcomes
• Provide leadership support to nursing staff across shifts as needed
• Participate in admissions, care planning, and clinical follow-up processes

Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Prior Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) required
• Strong understanding of long-term care regulations and survey processes
• Experience managing clinical teams within a SNF setting
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
