What You’ll Do:
You will be responsible for executing the organizational training for the company's manufacturing team and will oversee its implementation and assess its outcome. You will identify training and developmental needs and drive suitable training initiatives that build loyalty across the group and enhance employees' skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work. In this role you will develop the program curriculum, materials, and assessments for all production teams and maintain the program. The Production Training Manager will also develop and implement onboarding and training programs for new hires. This role will work across many departments to get employees up to speed in their specific areas and the company's overall needs. 

·         Works with key players in Manufacturing in overseeing the execution and quality of employee training, focused on employee operational skills and soft skills.

·         Work with Department Leaders to ensure SOPs are up to date and regularly reviewed

·         Supports employee training during their first 90-days

·         Coaches through leaders and provides feedback

·         Identify and assess future and current training needs

·         Draw an overall team or individualize training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations.

·         Able to deploy a wide variety of training methods

·         Monitor and evaluate training programs effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and report on them.

·         Tailor training programs as necessary

·         Facilitates trainings

·         Supports the technology needs for employee learning and development

·         Administrative support of the Learning Management System

·         Manages department skills-matrix and supports cross training gaps

·         Delivers Train-the-Trainer programs

·         Maintain a keen understanding of training best practices and trends


What You’ll Need:

·         Prior Manufacturing Training Experience     

·         3-5 years’ experience with employee learning and development

·         Experience with Microsoft Suite

·         Prior experience supporting an LMS is a plus

·         Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job, classroom, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.)

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively

·         This position requires being on site at our manufacturing facility daily so you can meet the team and learn what they do!
